主要从事微生态资源与工程的基础理论及应用技术研究,尤其集中于Prebiotics、Probiotics和Postbiotics功能及机制方面的探索。主持有国家自然科学基金项目4项,湖北省杰出青年人才项目1项,教育部留学归国启动基金项目1项,主持完成湖北省科技成果鉴定项目1项,产业合作项目多项。
